A resident recently uncovered two post-war photographs, believed to have been taken during a carnival or similar event in the village during the early 1950s. We believe the location is The Beacon and are working to identify the individuals featured. If you recognise anyone please do get in touch.

As part of our research in trying to identify the event, we have used some technical wizardry and applied a colour feature to the images (see below). We do not of course know how accurate the colours are, but they do give added depth and context to the images.
