Barbara Summons' cottage at 17 West Street, Rosemarket was built in 1933. Traditional construction of its time, the single storey property had a large back garden with sweeping countryside views. In 2022, the cottage was demolished and a house is currently under construction on the site, which remains in the Summons family.
