Three months after the launch of the new In Touch newsletter in January 2000, April of that year saw Issue 2 published. Despite still being a new publication, this second edition was considerably larger than the first, at 21 pages in length (A4, 20pp with a single page insertion).
It covered a wide variety of news from the communities of Burton and Rosemarket, as well contributions such as recipes and ‘special interest’ articles on topics such as gardening and holidays. Advertising from local businesses were also included.
Lots of news from St Ismael’s Church in Rosemarket featured, including updates on Easter services, church activities and donations.
A list of topics discussed during the three meetings of Rosemarket Community Council that had taken place since Issue 1 also featured. This included a reference to Rosemarket Local History Society (RLHS) committee member Ashley Warlow, who had recently retired as Clerk after 20 years of service. Other topics for discussion included village cleanliness, dog fouling and provision of a notice board.
This edition also featured railway recollections from a resident of Upper Crossing Cottage in Rosemarket, who described some of his experiences of the local railway network during the 1960s.

Details of regular events and activities being held in Rosemarket Village Hall were once again featured in this edition of In Touch, along with Easter Bingo and details of church services and community council meetings.
