Another speaker event completed!

Rosemarket Local History Society (RLHS) was invited to deliver a talk to the members of Pembrokeshire’s U3A organisation - part of a wider UK network of independent, locally-run organisations dedicated to lifelong learning. The talk was to form part of the October 2025 meeting of the group.

Preparation and delivery was very much a team effort, with slides and leaflets prepared, along with the setting up of camera and filming equipment. Several committee members were present on the day to assist Ashley Warlow, our speaker.

Ashley talked for over an hour to a packed hall in Tiers Cross, covering many aspects of Rosemarket’s history, captivating the audience with recollections of his childhood growing up in the village and some of the fascinating chapters in the history of our small village.

RLHS would like to thank Pembrokeshire U3A for inviting us to share some of Rosemaket’s history and for the lovely feedback subsequently received.
